Simplistic beauty with a hint of rustic and raw. This plate is hand built with a deep, rich red clay and formed to have a smooth eating surface and a raised rim to allow your food to stay in place while serving. The plate is dipped in a white slip and then glazed with a soft clear glaze. The added beauty of gold luster gives these plates just a little added bit of shine and shimmer. They pair perfectly with my gold luster charcuterie boards.
Due to the gold luster, these plates are not microwave safe. Using the dishwasher will dull the gold luster, handwash when possible.
My artistic mission is to make high quality handmade pottery that you use daily and enjoy. Slowing down and connecting to your routines can help you find deeper connections in life. By adding my pottery to your routine, it will invite you to slow down, observe and enjoy.
Each piece in my shop is thrown on the wheel or hand built by me in my small backyard studio.
All of my work is dishwasher safe, microwavable and easy to clean.
